The 24th Annual BOCES Art Show, featuring about 275 pieces of art from students from 14 area school districts, began this week and runs through May 24.
The student artists and their families celebrated the start of the show and the "unveiling" of their works with a reception on April 17 at BOCES headquarters.
All BOCES staff are welcome to tour the art when the conference rooms and hallways are open and not in use.
Participating districts include: Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, Cohoes, Duanesburg, Mohonasen, Niskayuna, North Colonie, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, Schalmont, Schenectady, Schoharie, Scotia-Glenville, Shenendehowa and Watervliet. Also participating were students in the Capital Region BOCES Special Education division.
The BOCES Art Show is produced by the Arts and Enrichment Service, which is part of School Support Services. Learn more at the Annual Art Show web page.
