Communications Service wins big in state contest
 

BOCES Insider, Education Speaks, Parent Today among the many BOCES-produced publications and websites honored

 

The Capital Region BOCES Communications Service made a strong showing in the 2012 New York School Public Relations Association competition, winning 38 awards in a variety of categories, from newsletters and videos to websites, marketing campaigns and writing.

NYSPRA's annual contest is one of the largest of its kind in the nation, and received more than 300 entries in its 2012 contest. Award-winning recipients will be honored on Oct. 26 at the annual NYSPRA Awards Luncheon held in conjunction with the 2012 New York State School Boards Association Convention in Rochester.

NYSPRA is a statewide group of professional school communicators; members are committed to the development and dissemination of communications designed to engage parents, staff, community residents, partners in education and other stakeholders.
